iTunes U Course

This course is designed for classroom teachers to support investigations of natural environments and wildlife through Challenge Based Learning, with a focus on Australian fauna. It provides a range of teaching and learning materials in the form of a Science unit. This unit is primarily designed to support Stage 3 – Year 5/6. The teaching and learning materials in this course will need to be adapted to suit other stages.

This unit of work is best taught using the suggested sequence outlined in this course. To maximise engagement, it is suggested that students are introduced to the topic in the playground where they are given the opportunity to explore their natural surroundings. To get the most out of this course students require access to iPads and the suggested apps listed in the course.
